John has had the intuitive gift as long as he can remember. As a child, he moved often and noticed some homes felt fine while others made him feel uneasy. He kept this to himself as many of us do when we are young (and even as adults). At a very young age John began communicating with animals. While living in the L.A. area, John’s family would often visit the zoo. In a recent letter, his Mother reminisced on these visits: “You really loved the monkeys. I’ll swear John, we thought you talked to them and they talked back to you. People would watch you ‘talking to’ the monkeys!”
John knew he had some sort of gift but was unsure what to do with it, if others had it, or whether people would accept it. Regardless of his ambivalence, friends and co-workers were drawn to John to share their night dreams and day dreams and get his input and advice. John has a natural inclination to help others, and throughout his life people have been drawn to him for counsel on a spiritual level.
Over 10 years ago, while Vice President of Visual Media for a training company in San Diego, John started formal training to develop his intuitive skills. He began with classes in animal communication (a strong connection from childhood), and since then has learned a number of healing techniques and modes of spiritual communication. He now offers these skills to clients.
Clairvoyant / Medium
John’s talent as a clairvoyant has enabled him to become successful in clearing/moving spirits and energy that are complicating the lives of his clients. To further develop his natural abilities, John has received the Advanced Clairvoyant Certificate from Southern California Psychic Institute and has studied mediumship with world-renowned medium James Van Praagh, the executive producer of TV’s Ghost Whisperer. Board-Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist
John uses hypnotherapy along with his other healing techniques to help clients move away from fears, concerns or blocks in their lives that keep them from reaching their full potential. Life-Chakra Therapist
John’s interest in spiritual energy led him to study the chakras, or life energy/metaphysical centers of the body. The function of the chakras is to process and distribute energy. They spin and draw in universal life force energy to keep spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health in balance. It is believed that if chakras that are out of balance for long periods of time, it can lead to illness in the corresponding part of your life. When John reads people’s energy, he can very quickly feel what chakras are out of balance. He finds chakra balancing most rewarding because it focuses on the whole being rather than one particular area. John received his Chakra Therapist certification from Reiki Blessing Academy. Reiki Master/Teacher
Reiki (Usui System of Natural Healing) is a simple, non-contact method for stress reduction, relaxation and healing. Reiki taps into life force energy to improve health and enhance the quality of life. Reiki can create many beneficial effects, including relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and well-being. John employs Reiki to help his clients identify and achieve their intentions. John was attuned to the Reiki Master/Teacher level in March of 2005.
Crystal/Color Energy Practitioner
John has studied the healing properties of different minerals and crystals, and uses them in combination with his other healing techniques. He can also infuse Reiki energy into stones for his clients to maintain positive energy in particular situations.
