Quiet the Chatter: Guided Imagery & Meditation
Most of us are familiar with the benefits of meditation: improved concentration, better mental control, lower blood pressure, enhanced immune function, and increased self-confidence are just a few. But if you are uncertain how to start, how to turn off the "background noise," this class is for you!
To prepare for meditation, you will be led through three guided imageries to help you relax your body and still your mind. Learning these easy techniques will help you quiet the chatter in your head, move you away from obstacles in your life, and create a lasting feeling of peace.
Classes are generally held one-on-one, so you get the most out of your training. Private classes are $50 per hour, lasting typically 1-1.5 hours. Discounted rates are available for groups of 6 to 10 participants. Class handouts will be provided, and a guided meditation CD will be available to students for $5 (regularly $15).
